Turning the Camera On and Off
Shooting Mode
Shooting Mode
Press the G button to turn the camera on.
The lens will extend automatically.
Press G again to turn the camera off.
2 Tip: Switching to Playback Mode
Press the a button to start playback. Press the shutter
button halfway to return to shooting mode.
3 Cautions
• Be sure that the lens cap is removed before turning
the camera on.
• Forcibly preventing the lens from extending could
cause damage or product malfunction.
• Pictures can be affected by fingerprints and other
marks on the lens. Keep the lens clean.
• The G button does not completely disconnect
the camera from its power supply.
