Basic Steps for Shooting and Playback
Removing the Memory Card
Turn the camera off and be sure that the power-
on lamp and monitor have turned off before
opening the battery-chamber/memory card slot
cover.
Gently push the memory card into the camera

) to partially eject the card, and then remove
the card. Pull the memory card straight out of the
camera (

); do not pull it at an angle.
B High Temperature Caution
The camera, battery, or memory card may be hot immediately after using the camera. Observe
caution when removing the battery or memory card.
Internal Memory and Memory Cards
Camera data, including still images and movies, can be saved in either the
camera’s internal memory (approximately 1.7 GB) or on a memory card. To use the
camera’s internal memory for shooting or playback, first remove the memory card.
