Installation
Rear connections
Warning:
Never make or change connections with
the mains supply switched on.
Connecting FM antenna
It is unnecessary to connect the FM pigtail
antenna since it is fixed to the main unit.
Fully extend the FM antenna.
Keep the FM antenna as horizontal as possible
(as far away as possible from the AC adapter,
VCR or other radiation sources).
Fix the antenna’s end to the wall.
Connecting TV antenna/CATV
(cables not included)
As shown, plug a TV antenna (for air channel)/
CATV cable (for cable channel) into TV ANT.
Connecting an additional
appliance
It is possible to use an additional appliance, e.g.
VCR, video game player, with the set.
1 Connect one end of the AV cable (red/white/
yellow, not supplied) to AV IN jacks on the set,
red plug to AUDIO IN R , white plug to
AUDIO IN L, yellow plug to VIDEO IN.
2 Connect the other end of the AV cable to the
corresponding AV OUT terminals of the
additional appliance.
Before starting operation, press TV/AV on the
remote control to select “AV” in order to
activate the input source.
Helpful hints:
If the connected device has only a single audio
out terminal, connect it to the AUDIO IN L
terminal. Alternatively, you can use a “single to
double” cinch cable, but the output sound will
remain mono.
Always refer to the owner’s manual of other
equipment for complete connection.
